The Tiki profile system is designed to manage hundreds of community-built profiles. However, a short list is picked as "featured".
__Goals__
* To give a feel to admins (especially new ones) about all the possible things we can do with Tiki.
* Get them quickly started
!! Featured profiles in Tiki 13.x & 14.x
The featured profiles in Tiki 12 can continue to be used in Tiki 13 & Tiki14. They will show up if you choose version 13.x in the Profiles Installer. When the bootstrap transition is complete (post Tiki 14), hopefully we can have upgraded Bootstrap optimized profiles then.

^Starting in Tiki 4.x, profiles are no longer offered in the installer. Instead the installer has been simplified and the Profiles Interface (post-install) has been improved.^
